The most authentic ghee according to our Ayurvedic scriptures is the one which is made from curd of Desi Cow milk using the ancient Bilona method. A 3000-year-old Bilona method was used by our ancestors to derive Pure Ghee from curd and butter. However, with time modern techniques intervened to make ghee making process easier along with addition of chemicals that resulted in unhealthy ghee.

We are dedicated to conserve indigenous cows and protect our age-old culture of processing ghee. We give utmost care to the nutritional requirements of our Kankrej Cows at home and, also allow them to roam and graze on naturally grown grass and herbs in open fields.

Step-by-step glimpse of Just Pure’s A2 Desi Cow Ghee making process

Step 1.

Our trustworthy farmers obtain fresh milk from our Kankrej Cows after the calf is satiated.

Step 2.

The raw and unprocessed A2 Cow Milk is heated and boiled slowly in the pots with the help of cow dung cakes for at least 4 to 5 hours.

Step 3.

The boiled milk is then cooled down to 40 degrees and cultured for preparing the curd.

After 4 to 5 hours, fresh and perfectly thick curd is settled.

Step 4.

Using the Bilona method, curd is then churned with a bi-directional churner to collect the mouth-watering butter.

Step 5.

Fresh butter is then slowly heated and cooked in the stainless-steel pan so as to preserve its purity and nutritional values.

Step 6.

After cooking for some time, the heavenly golden nectar of health or A2 Desi Cow Ghee is obtained.

Step 7.

Finally, the prepared Ghee is clarified by sieving it through 5 layers of cotton cloth into the packaging vessel and further packed into glass jars of various sizes.

Step 8.
